The young Roman man, having just stepped forward from behind a tree, gracefully lets his right hand fall, after the release of his arrow. A long cape is fastened to his shoulder and has been swung over his left arm by the holds of a bow. The handmade bronze sculpture was molded using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. It is mounted upon a black marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and the artist Montorsoli signature.
